Terms of service

• You must be a human. Accounts created by bots are not permitted.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13 in any case.
• You are responsible for your account and for anything done through it. Keep your sign-in details safe; we cannot recover content lost because someone else got into your account.
• One person, one account. You may not use Strong Ticker for anything illegal, or to harass anyone.

Prices come from Tiingo and are end-of-day closes, at least one trading day old. They are not live quotes and they are not suitable for trading.

We do not warrant that prices are accurate, complete or timely. They can be wrong, delayed, or missing entirely, and the provider can change or stop without notice. Do not rely on a number here for any decision that matters — check your broker.

• The free plan covers 10 positions and costs nothing. No card is required.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Fees do not include taxes, which are added where required.
• If you downgrade or cancel, nothing you wrote is deleted. Your journal stays readable; you simply cannot create new positions beyond the free allowance.
• We may change prices. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email.

Bad refund policies are infuriating. Ours is simple: if you are unhappy, email support@strongticker.com and we will sort it out.

If you were charged for a period you meant to cancel, you get that back. If you forgot to cancel months ago and have not used the account since, you get those months back. If you tried it and it was not for you, you get your money back. Anything at the edges is case by case, and we will err toward you.

You can cancel from your account settings at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not make you email us or sit through a retention call.

We may suspend or close an account that is breaking these terms, being used illegally, or harming other people. Except in serious cases we will contact you first and give you a chance to put it right.

You own everything you write. We claim no rights over your entries, and we do not use them to train anything.

You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, back it up, and display it to you — and, for a position you deliberately publish, to display it to whoever has the link. That permission ends when you delete the content.

A share link makes that position readable by anyone holding the link. You are responsible for what you publish. Do not publish anything you do not have the right to, and remember that a link posted publicly is public even though it is unlisted.

We may remove a shared page that breaks these terms or the law.

We aim to keep Strong Ticker running, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. We may change or remove features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export what you wrote.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Strong Ticker is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Negative Split Software LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any investment losses, lost profits, or decisions made using this service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders and reflected in the date at the top. Continuing to use Strong Ticker after a change means you accept it.
